Abstrak

To learn purpose of this research is to find out; (1) whether the competence of the teacher's personality affects the motivation of learners. (2) whether the influence of social competence and motivation of learners. This research is a quantitative study with a total population of 157 students and a sample taken is 39% that amounted to 39 students. methods of data collection in this study using a questionnaire as the principal method. supported by interviews and supporting documentation as a method to supplement the data obtained from the questionnaire method using purposive sampling technique. analysis of the data used is multiple analysis techniques. before the multiple regression analysis, the items investigated first level of validity and reliability, followed by a test of the classical assumption of normality test, linearity, heterokedatisitas, multikorelitas data and fitted with a hypothesis.

The analysis it can be concluded that: (1) Competence teacher's personality significantly affect the motivation-learning participants in Madrasah Aliyah Bangil Maarif. (2) social competence of teachers do not significantly affect the motivation-learning participants in Madrasah Aliyah Bangil Maarif.
