PERKEMBANGAN PENELITIAN PENDIDIKAN ISLAM BERDASARKAN DATA SCOPUS 2014-2024: ANALISIS BIBLIOMETRIK
Abstract
The phenomenon of globalization has a major impact on culture, economy, and society. Understanding and implementing religious values in a complex modern context is a challenge for the millennial generation. They face issues of ethics, morality, and religious identity in a changing environment. This research aims to map publication trends regarding the development of Islamic education research based on Scopus data from 2014-2024. Bibliometric analysis using VOS viewer contained 1392 pieces of literature from the Scopus database published from 2013-2023. The most publications were in 2020 with 205 articles, with the fewest occurring in 2024 with 10 articles. Asadullah, M.N. and brooks, m.c. are the most active writers in this field. On the other hand, article citations increased in 2014 by 148 citations and the lowest citation in 2024 was 1 citation. The results show that there are 13 clusters and "religious moderation" is a new theme in this field.
