TRANSFORMASI KURIKULUM PENDIDIKAN ISLAM BERBASIS NILAI-NILAI KEBERLANJUTAN DI MUADALAH ULYA DARUSSALAM BLOKAGUNG
Abstract
This research aims to analyze the transformation of the Islamic education curriculum based on desired values at Mujadi Ulya Darussalam Blokagung. The main focus of this research is how the integration of poverty values is carried out in aspects of planning, implementation and evaluation of learning, as well as the extent to which curriculum innovation addresses global challenges such as the environmental crisis, social inequality and moral degradation. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach with a case study method. Data collection techniques were carried out through participatory observation, in-depth interviews with madrasa heads, teachers and students, as well as documentation studies of curriculum tools and learning activities. The data obtained was analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research results show that the curriculum transformation at Mujadi Ulya was carried out systematically and collectively by integrating desirable values—such as trust in the earth, social piety, and simple living—into the diniyah and general subjects. Learning strategies have also changed from lecture methods to contextual and applied approaches, through projects based on the environment and local social problems. Adapting the curriculum to global issues (climate change, SDGs) within the framework of Islamic values is the main strength of this institution in realizing progressive and sustainable Islamic education.
