PENINGKATAN SUMBER DAYA MANUSIA DI PESANTREN: STUDI PENGEMBANGAN PROFESIONAL TENAGA PENDIDIK NON FORMAL
Abstract
Formulating a relevant and applicable human resource development model to increase the competitiveness and strategic role of Islamic boarding schools in facing the challenges of education in the modern era is the objective of this research. Using a qualitative approach with a case study type conducted at the Darussalam Islamic Boarding School, Blokagung, Banyuwangi. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews, and documentation studies. Data analysis techniques used data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Triangulation was used to check the data. The results of this study indicate that improving the human resources of non-formal educators in Islamic boarding schools through the superior diniyah class program as a strategy for madrasah teacher cadre development, and becoming a model of non-formal education adopted regionally. The activities of the ustadz/ustadzah consortium as a forum for community-based professional development and improving the quality of teaching through module analysis and the preparation of contextual learning tools. The pre-Ahad Legi activity as a forum for academic evaluation and strengthening teachers' spirituality as well as a participation-based internal monitoring system to convey obstacles and solutions directly, allows for a quick response from the madrasah to learning problems. Improving the quality of non-formal educators in Islamic boarding schools is carried out through teacher cadre development in the Diniyah Unggulan Class, professional development through the Ustadz/Ustadzah Consortium, as well as participatory evaluation and strengthening of spirituality through Pra Ahad Legi activities, forming an adaptive, collaborative, and sustainable education system.
