Abstract

This research aims to find out: 1. madrasa head program planning in improving the performance of MAN 2 Banyuwangi teachers. 2. find out the implementation of the madrasa head program in improving teacher performance at MAN 2 Banyuwangi. 3 find out the evaluation of the madrasah principal's program in improving teacher performance at MAN 2 Banyuwangi. This research uses a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques in this research used observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis uses Miles and Huberman's interactive analysis which consists of data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of this research: 1. Madrasa head program planning to improve teacher performance was prepared at the beginning of the semester, along with the madrasa program involving teachers. 2. Implementation of a performance improvement program based on previously prepared program planning. At this stage, the madrasa head increases teacher competency through training activities, seminars, and the madrasa head always motivates teachers. 3. Program evaluation is carried out directly by the head of the madrasah by checking teacher learning in class and by looking at student achievement to determine the level of implementation of learning.
