Globalization has brought changes in the behavior of people's lives. Changes in behavior as a result of globalization is not just happening in urban communities, but also have an impact on rural communities will also indirectly affect the future of schools, because many schools established in rural areas. Changes that occur in the community can be seen in changes in lifestyle, diet, fashion clothing, communication, transport and values ​​in public life. The impact of globalization, the existence of schools face enormous challenges. Although this is so, there are many schools that can cope with and expand its position in the face of globalization, one of which is a boarding school and Nurul Ulum Islamic Raudlatul I Jember. This study used a qualitative approach using multi-case design. Determination of informants using purposive sampling. Data collection techniques using observation techniques, the role of in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out two stages: (1) data analysis of individual cases and (2) the analysis of data lintaskasus. Test valliditas using techniques credibility data.Dari use this method, the results of research, namely: 1) the boarding school experience leadership development pattern of centralized pattern to multi leader, 2) boarding school experience in the development aspects of the literature books, namely: from the beginning students using only the classics, but also use books new or books on white boarding, 3) the development of the values ​​of pesantren happen to the value of monotheism / divinity, humanity, unity / brotherhood, independence, sincerity, simplicity, freedom, justice, and wisdom.
