Focus and Scope

 

Darussalam Journal (ISSN 1978-4767) is a scientific forum that aims to broaden horizons and enrich knowledge in three main disciplines: Education, Communication and Islamic Legal Thought. In the realm of education, this journal examines various aspects such as innovation in learning, curriculum development, character education, and educational management based on Islamic values. This study also includes an analysis of global challenges to Islamic education and how educational institutions can adapt to remain relevant in the modern era. With an integrative approach, this journal supports efforts to improve the quality of education at local and global levels.

In the Communication discipline, this journal focuses on the strategic role of communication in conveying Islamic values, both through traditional and digital media. Topics include digital da'wah, cross-cultural communication, Islamic media management, as well as effective communication strategies in building social harmony. Meanwhile, in the field of Islamic Legal Thought, this journal presents critical discussions about the dynamics of Islamic law in the contemporary era. The focus includes interpretation of Islamic law that is relevant to the needs of modern society, maqasid al-shariah, development of fiqh across schools of thought, as well as the implications of Islamic law in the context of global civilization. By integrating these three disciplines, the Darussalam Journal becomes a platform for in-depth scientific dialogue and contributes to the development of Islamic-based science.
