Dampak Prophetic Leadership Kiai Terhadap Pembentukan Grit dan Agency Santri: Model Manajemen Pendidikan Berbasis Keunggulan Karakter

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis secara mendalam model Manajemen Pendidikan Berbasis Keunggulan Karakter di pesantren melalui lensa Kepemimpinan Profetik (Prophetic Leadership) Kiai serta menguji dampaknya terhadap pembentukan ketahanan diri (Grit) dan daya dorong pribadi (Agency) pada diri santri. Berbeda dari studi kepemimpinan konvensional, penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus, melibatkan observasi partisipatif, wawancara mendalam dengan Kiai, jajaran pengelola, dan santri teladan, serta analisis dokumen kurikulum. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Pesantren Darussalam Blokagung berhasil secara efektif menerapkan model Manajemen Pendidikan Berbasis Keunggulan Karakter melalui Kepemimpinan Profetik Kiai sebagai fondasi moral, kurikulum Adabullah wa Adabun N?s menanamkan keseimbangan spiritual-sosial, program Riyadhah dan Mujahadah melatih ketahanan, model Syu‘ra membangun agency santri, serta manajemen suksesi ikhlas menjamin keberlanjutan nilai pesantren. Kontribusi teoretis penelitian ini terletak pada pengembangan kerangka Prophetic-Grit-Agency (PGA) Model dalam manajemen pendidikan Islam, memberikan wawasan baru bagi lembaga pendidikan dalam mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai spiritual tradisional dengan konstruksi psikologi positif modern, sehingga menghasilkan lulusan yang tidak hanya berintelektual dan berakhlak, tetapi juga memiliki daya saing global dan ketahanan hidup yang tinggi. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan replikasi model PGA sebagai standar baru dalam pengelolaan pendidikan karakter kontemporer.
